Little penguins are the smallest breed of penguin. They live most of their lives at sea, and come out onto shore at night at Phillip Island. They can be found scattered all over in New Zealand when their predators  are asleep. Little penguins have blue coloured like feathers that are waterproof, little flippers to fly in the waters and fat to trap heat. They hunt down their food which are mainly squids and fishes like, Barracouta, Red Cod, Pilchards and Anchovy.
